LHS Drama Club to perform "Spelling Bee"

The LHS Drama Club is gearing up for its performance of the "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," a one-act Broadway musical comedy by Rebecca Feldman with music and lyrics by William Finn.   The show centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally-quirky grown-ups.

The LHS Drama Club is performing Spelling Bee May 5-7 (Friday at 7, Saturday at 7, and Sunday at 2). Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and children, and will be available fr purchase at the door.
